​ILIADE was formed in 1977 in Saint-Jérôme, Quebec, a small town just north of Montreal.
Strongly inspired by the evocative sound of progressive rock, the band quickly developed a repertoire of nearly 15 original songs and began attracting the attention of several record companies. Their music was clearly original. One talent representative famously summed it up: “ILIADE is either 10 years ahead or 10 years too late.”

Today, ILIADE is proud to lend its voice and support to the cause of autism and the Gabriel-Fugère Center, using music as a way to connect, give back and make a difference.

Iliade today...

​​Nearly four decades later, the music came alive again. After a 39-year hiatus, ILIADE has reunited, bringing together the energy, friendship and passion that sparked the band in the first place. The group is revisiting its original songs while embracing the freedom to create music in different genres. 

It’s not simply a reunion—it’s a new chapter in the ILIADE story.

​And although our dear friend Sylvain is no longer an active member of the group, he remains a lifelong source of inspiration!
